Why a lawyer can matter more at this age
An underage DUI can affect a first license, school, scholarships, jobs and insurance for years. A DUI lawyer can explain whether diversion or a reduced charge is possible in your county, and handle the license hearing deadline. Parents can request a consultation on behalf of their child.
Quick answers
Can my parents talk to the lawyer for me?
A parent can usually make the first call and attend the consultation, but the lawyer's duty is to you as the client.
